“ICSE scraps Compartment Exams , students losing second-chance options?”
The CISCE board has cancelled the Compartment Exams for ICSE & ISC classes from 2024 onwards. Rather than giving students who failed a full re-test opportunity, the board now offers only improvement exams for up to two subjects, along with re-evaluation of answer sheets. Some students argue this reduces their chances to recover from poor performance.
